Unique Custom Cycles was formed as a company in 1995, but the roots go back much further. Four talented individuals with serious custom bike-building pedigree make up this workshop’s core team.
The brothers Ronna and Benna Noren’s Triumph choppers first graced magazine pages in the 1980s. Stefan Farnell started even earlier: the legendary chopper rag “Hojmagasinet” showcased his mighty Fastbob big bore stroker back in 1986.
But the grand-daddy of them all is Gordon Rooth, who started building long fork Harleys in the late 1970s. Gordon had his first chop featured in the epic Swedish custom magazine “Colorod” back in 1981.
The custom shop was responsible for the R5 concept, which later evolved into the BMW R18. It also built the R20 concept, BMW Motorrad’s behemoth roadster vision.
